Due to overwhelming demand, Paramore have added a third and final show in Melbourne for their November 2023 Australia and New Zealand tour.

The new show will take place on Thursday, 30 November, while extra seats and tickets have been added to their two Brisbane Entertainment Centre concerts on Wednesday, 22 and Thursday, 23 November.

The Frontier Members pre-sale for the Melbourne gig begins on Thursday, 14 September, at 1 pm AEST, while general public tickets for Melbourne and additional Brisbane tickets will go on sale on Friday, 15 September, from 2 pm AEST. Tickets will be available via Frontier Touring.

Paramore have also announced an extra support act – And That, the solo project of New Zealand-born, LA-based artist Scott Cleary, accompanying Remi Wolf in New Zealand. Remi Wolf will open all dates.

With the extra dates, Paramore’s Australian and New Zealand tour spans seven dates, beginning at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday, 18 November, before the band heads to Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, 22 and Thursday, 23 November and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Monday 27, Tuesday 28 and Thursday, 30 November. They will also visit Sydney’s Domain on Saturday, 25 November, for another sold-out show.

In late August, it looked like Paramore had returned to the studio just months after releasing their sixth album, This Is Why, in February.

“We've been off the road for a couple weeks now... mainly in LA. Thankfully, got some down time, but we put some work in, too,” singer Hayley Williams wrote on Instagram. “It felt good to get back into a studio. More of that once we get home to Nashville.”

This Is Why debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and the Vinyl Albums Chart.

This Is Why is Paramore's third #1 album in Australia, following Brand New Eyes (2009) and Paramore (2013). Their 2017 album, After Laughter, debuted at #3. Their 2005 debut, All We Know Is Falling, failed to chart here but subsequently received a Gold certification. Riot! (2007) is also certified Gold in Australia and peaked at #47 upon release.
