Paramore Add Extra Shows To Upcoming Australian Tour

US pop-punk and rock music legends Paramore have added second shows in Brisbane and Melbourne after the fan and Frontier Touring pre-sales were met with unprecedented demand on Monday (3 July).

The additional tour dates have changed the band’s touring schedule to Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday, 18 November, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, 22 and (new show) Thursday, 23 November, Sydney’s Domain on Saturday, 25 November, and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Monday 27 and (new show) Tuesday 28 November.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale today from 11 am AEST in Brisbane and 1 pm AEST in Melbourne via Frontier Touring. 

General tickets for all shows go on sale tomorrow (6 July), from 12 pm NZST, 11 am AEST in Brisbane, noon AEST in Sydney, and 1 pm in Melbourne. These shows are Paramore’s largest and most anticipated concerts in Australia to date. Californian soul artist Remi Wolf will open all shows.

Paramore’s upcoming Australian tour arrives in support of their sixth album, This Is Why, released in February. In its first week on the ARIA Albums Chart, the album hit #1 on both the Albums and Vinyl Charts.

Paramore will donate a portion of all ticket sales to leading food rescue organisations OzHarvest (Australia) and KiwiHarvest (New Zealand) to help reduce food waste and create lasting positive social change.

The band returned after a lengthy hiatus in September 2022, releasing the title track and their first new song since 2017's After Laughter (vocalist Hayley Williams put out two excellent solo albums in 2020, Petals For Armor and 2021, Flowers For Vases / Descansos). With Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro at her side, Paramore explored sides of post and dance-punk and crafted some of their best ballads yet.
