Who doesn't want a member of Korn to give them a tour through a furniture store?

More Korn More Korn

Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch is quite the furniture salesman. Furniture City in Welch’s hometown of Bakersfield, California, quickly discovered that and likely knew they had something too good not to advertise on their hands, posting a new reel on Instagram with Welch as the star.

Shopping locally, Welch takes over a tour of the stacked store, finding an extravagant bed, pointing at it and saying, “This is built for a king!” After laying on it, still wearing shoes, he added, “You just feel like a king in this thing!”

He walks through the entire store, observing porcelain and glass items within the Bakersfield Furniture City. You can watch the clip below.

As one keen commenter wrote in the Instagram comments, “Feels like an MTV cribs episode,” while another said, “Good place to buy a "head" board. I'll see myself out.” Of course, Korn fans love a good pun – another fan asked if Head felt like a “Freak on a chaise lounge?”

As he perused the store he thought “would end like a mile ago”, Welch spotted the chandelier and asked, “How do you even fit this in a house?”

At the end of the clip, Welch even gave Furniture City a tagline, and if they’re as savvy as they were by putting this video on social media, they’ll use it. Comparing the store in his hometown to the indulgence found in Las Vegas, Welch said, “The thing I like about Furniture City is Vegas will break the bank — Furniture City will not.”

Welch isn’t the only member of Korn to stretch himself outside of music and advertise something totally different.

Lead vocalist Jonathan Davis launched a line of pet products in October 2022. The ingeniously named Freak On A Leash pet product line features a range of pet accessories designed by Davis himself. Very much a 'dog-person', Davis announced the Freak On A Leash launch via Instagram, writing:

"These premium products are created for all, paying homage to the horror and rock music we love. This first collection, designed exclusively by me, contains all custom products made with high-quality gunmetal hardware, leather, nylon, and plushies that will set your pet apart from the pack.”

Earlier this year, Korn teamed up with Adidas and released an exclusive apparel and sneakers range.
