In a win for Korn and nu-metal music, the iconic rock band is finally partnering with Adidas for a sneakers and merchandise collection coming this October.

As Complex reports after viewing an internal Adidas document, the Korn and Adidas collaboration will consist of two sneakers — the Campus 00s and the Supermodified — and seven pieces of apparel. Representatives for Adidas and Korn didn’t immediately respond to Complex’s request for comment.

Korn frequently wore Adidas apparel throughout the 90s and even joked about a potential acronym for the brand after vocalist Jonathan Davis worked there in the band's early days.

A.D.I.D.A.S, or “all day I dream about sex,” is from the band’s 1996 album Life Is Peachy.

The Korn x Adidas Campus 00s are set to retail for $130 USD, as the Korn x Adidas Supermodified will go for $140 USD. The Korn logo can be seen on the shoes’ right tongue, with the inside of the shoes featuring guitar pick keychains and Life Is Peachy artwork.

Arriving with the new shoes is a merchandise range featuring t-shirts, hoodies, and tracksuits – a black and white pair or a purple and white pair. You can find out more about the collaboration here.

Earlier this year, Jonathan Davis revealed how much money Puma paid Korn to ditch Adidas in an interview with Kerrang!

Explaining why the band stopped wearing Adidas, Davis said, “Get this shit… their reply was ‘Adidas is a sports company. We do sports, not music.’

"I would look out into the crowd and see all these kids wearing Adidas shit at our shows, but they couldn’t do anything for us. Then you’ve got Kanye West and all these other people with their own [custom] shoes [in the years since]. What the flying fuck?!”

Then, Puma came along with a $500,000 deal, which, in 1998, was especially huge for a nu-metal band and not some sports stars. “We switched to Puma because they told us they’d put us in a commercial and give us a little money to wear their shit,” Davis added. “We were just like, ’Fuck yeah! That’s more than Adidas ever did for us!’ It wasn’t a sell-out thing. It was about respect.”

Apart from human fashion products, Davis launched a line of pet products in October. The ingeniously named Freak On A Leash pet product line features a range of pet accessories designed by Davis himself. Very much a 'dog-person', Davis announced the Freak On A Leash launch via Instagram, writing:

"These premium products are created for all, paying homage to the horror and rock music we love. This first collection, designed exclusively by me, contains all custom products made with high-quality gunmetal hardware, leather, nylon, and plushies that will set your pet apart from the pack.”
