Australian Metalcore legends The Amity Affliction have announced that their highly anticipated Aus tour, Not Without My Ghosts, will kick off in October 2023.

Joining the boys on tour will be special guests including Canadian rock band Silverstein, Earth Caller and Winnerz Circle, making it a major metal affair.

Set to begin the tour in the band's hometown of Brisbane at Fortitude Music Hall, the boys will then move on to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall, Melbourne’s Forum, finally wrapping up at Perth’s Metro City.

Tickets go on sale 12pm Friday, March 24th. You can purchase them here. My Live Nation members can secure tickets early during the Live Nation presale at 12pm Thursday, March 23.

This tour marks the 20th anniversary of the band, which formed in 2003.

Last month, the Aussie band returned to the airwaves with I See Dead People. Their latest single features the late New Zealand rapper Louie Knuxx, a close friend of the band who tragically passed away from a heart attack in 2021.

I See Dead People is lyrically and musically heavy, with Joel Birch discussing "the ongoing and nebulous struggle that comes with dealing with the pain of friends killing themselves, while myself dealing with passive suicidal ideation."

I See Dead People follows on from Show Me Your God, where Amity return to their heavier roots.

"Show Me Your God is the first song of our first self-produced record," the band said. "The song is the first in a series of explorations and internal meditations on how our past shapes us and interacts with our various mental struggles in the present, drawing from both personal experience and also the trauma of close friends who have passed away or who have dealt with close loved ones passing away."

Show Me Your God was announced after Birch's teasing on social media. He gifted fans with the following information: the Aussie metalcore band's eighth album is done! "New album finished. Mixed. Done," Birch tweeted. He added, "[it's the] Heaviest music we've ever written."
