'Master Of Puppies': Dog Sneaks Into Metallica Stadium Gig

Have you ever wanted to take your four-legged friend to a stadium show instead of leaving them at home? I’m sure that we all have, but unfortunately, it’s probably not a very good idea.
Based on the photo posted below, Storm, who we’re guessing is a German Shepherd or a Kelpie, snuck into a Metallica concert at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. This headbanging dog’s favourite songs have got to include Bark At The Moon by Ozzy Osbourne, Who Let The Dogs Out by the Baha Men and Led Zeppelin’s Black Dog.
As the band wrote in a social media post about their newest fan, Storm and her family live adjacent to the stadium. Storm had a barking good time at the Metallica concert and, luckily, was reunited with her family the following day (28 August).
“Despite reports to the contrary, our friend Storm snuck out of her home adjacent to SoFi Stadium and made her way to the gig all by herself,” Metallica wrote in an Instagram post this morning.
Storm, the queen of our hearts, “had a great time listening to her favorite [sic] songs, including Barx Æterna, Master of Puppies, and The Mailman That Never Comes.”
The band added, “And in case you were wondering, no. You definitely shouldn’t bring your furry friends to the #M72 World Tour. But this dog sure did have her day…”

The M72 World Tour is not only in support of Metallica’s excellent new album, 72 Seasons, but also marks a first for the heavy metal legends: Metallica take over stadium venues across the globe for two nights in a row, and on those nights, perform “no-repeat” sets per city.
Support acts include the newly reformed Pantera, Mammoth WVH, Five Finger Death Punch, Floor Jansen, Epica, Architects, and Ice Nine Kills.
72 Seasons, Metallica’s 11th studio album, arrived in April and quickly debuted on top of the ARIA Albums Chart.
In a glowing review of the album, Kill Your Stereo’s Kristen S. Hé wrote: “Four decades after they kicked the doors down in their early twenties with Kill ’Em All, Metallica have come full circle in a way that no one could have predicted.
“Lyrically, 72 Seasons is about how the struggles of one’s first 18 years can reverberate into adulthood. But musically, it’s about reconnecting with their earliest influences and finding new meaning in them once again - with no interest in simply recapturing past glories.”
In July, Metallica announced the production of a new documentary on their superfans and issued a public casting call.
