Liv Dunford, Journalist

Liv Dunford

Currently working as an editor for the University of Queensland’s Jacaranda Journal, Liv Dunford is a poet and playwright whose recent play – which explores the extremely serious topic of goblins in kitchens – was performed at the 2022 Vanguard Festival.

Despite the rest of her family being musicians, she prefers to observe the wild and wonder of live music from the madness of the crowd… and then write about it. You can find her wandering around Brisbane through old book/music stores and parks or writing at a quiet pub with a pint of Guinness in hand while listening to the likes of Jeff Buckley and The Stone Roses. You might even catch her at an underground gig muttering continuous Spinal Tap references before she disappears into the night.
