Coombs Marr never puts a foot wrong in what is a demanding performance in every sense of the word.

Zoe Coombs Marr's Dave offers an absurd insight into the mind of an Aussie bloke trying to make it big on the comedy stage. As the evening progresses an increasingly blood soaked Dave offers his opinion on everything from the elusiveness of the female anatomy to the naming of Melbourne's suburbs. It hardly deviates from the typical stand up format, however Coombs Marr captures the character so perfectly that laughter is never in short supply. Dave is awkward yet likeable, with a voice that grates, a cheeky smile and bogan charm to boot. Laughter turns to side splitting agony at stages, particularly toward the end of the show when Dave's fixation with a certain grammy award winning, female British singer is revealed to it's full extent. Coombs Marr never puts a foot wrong in what is a demanding performance in every sense of the word.
