"Vocalist Connor Mairs rips incredible power into his roar with each song."

More Whitefall More Whitefall

Origins is the impressive debut EP from Whitefall, recently released into the densely populated world of Australian metalcore.

The five-track EP is ferociously heavy from start to finish, with epic breakdowns that step through pulsing djent riffs in a similar vein to In Hearts Wake or Northlane. Vocalist Connor Mairs rips incredible power into his roar with each song, and somewhat upstages the guest vocals of TesseracT's Dan Tompkins in Causality. While there's an unfortunate lack of progressive movement, in favour of a brutal onslaught of riffs, Whitefall have arrived on the scene in a big way with this release.
