"The band masterfully blend the old and new."

Sydney's Twin Fires have made good on their promise to blend the bluesy twangs of the American South with the classic sound of Aussie rock on their second EP, This Time I'm Fine.

Opener Boss proves to be a fast-paced and high energy trip down memory lane for anyone with a penchant for local rock circa the late '80s. Two Hands pulls back a little; with jangly guitars, a driving beat and gritty vocals from frontman Ed Worland, this early single remains a standout. Those blues influences are central to Let Me Be Your Man, as the band masterfully blend the old and new with excellent results.
