"The Night Flight Orchestra are proudly carrying the vintage rock torch into the future."

More The Night Flight Orchestra More The Night Flight Orchestra

It's been posited that the majority of high profile metal musicians are unadulterated rock'n'rollers at their core.

Case in point - Soilwork and Arch Enemy personnel evidently having an absolute blast jamming on this "classic rock space opera". Elements of Journey, Boston, Toto, Foreigner and KISS's poppiest leanings have been distilled into a keyboard-laden amalgam akin to the album-orientated rock compilation you never knew you wanted. Results are catchy as flypaper (Gemini, disco-fied Domino), with a loving nudge-and-a-wink to the era's tropes. Cuts like Saturn In Velvet inject a proggier edge. The Night Flight Orchestra are proudly carrying the vintage rock torch into the future.
