"Everything just blurs into one long repetitive buzz-kill."

Twangy guitar pub rock gets a refresher with the debut album from Terrigal five-piece The Lazys.

While there are some cool hooks and catchy lines, they come far too early, fail to reappear and are quickly lost under what seems to be the guys’ go-to trick – a repetitive one-chord chorus that just doesn’t cut the mustard. Things start out promisingly with the kitsch shimmy of Show Me What You’re Made Of, but it needs to be backed up. Sadly, Love Your Gun, All Fired Up and pretty much everything else just blurs into one long repetitive buzz-kill.
