The Kagools: Tutti

Dressed in waterproof jackets, the two Kagools don't speak a word throughout their show. Instead, Nicky Wilkinson and Claire Ford use a mix of hand gestures, exaggerated facial expressions and slapstick comedy to communicate with us, and the result is a joy to behold.

Misunderstandings with audience members bring a touch of farce to proceedings, which only adds to the laughter. Be prepared for a lot of audience interaction, and the more you put in the more entertaining the show will be - this is definitely best enjoyed from the front row.

While the audience interaction results in plenty of comedy, these two talented performers also create moments of genuine pathos when they are alone on stage in this joyously unpredictable show. Video projections that turn the backdrop into a range of scenes are well integrated, if a little overused, and the duo seamlessly interacts with them to blur the line between video and reality.

Reminiscent of past festival hit The Boy With The Tape On His Face with a bit of Mr Bean thrown in, Tutti is suitable for all ages, and adult and children alike will be laughing throughout.
