"These three guys bring something wholesome and real to the genre."

Folk has been the taste of the month now for a few years so it's hard to get excited about another fiddle, banjo and string-based act. Fortunately these three guys bring something wholesome to the genre.

The title track is a Celtic blitzkrieg that lets the banjo do all the work. There are sweeter more melodic moments like Cold which is a beautiful winter ballad. The Stubborn Mule also allows them to be more quirky and show their musical prowess in a blend of Celtic styles. When they do sing on the album, which is very rare, it's a real treat. Catch them at a festival and you will be impressed.
