"Ghosts has a good handful of tracks that traverse fast and furious and sparse and reflective."

More The Comfort More The Comfort

Brisbane post-hardcore lads The Comfort have found some rare time in between their runaway train of live shows to bust out their first EP.

While influences lurk in the shadowy corners - Bring Me The Horizon, Saosin - Ghosts has a good handful of tracks that traverse fast and furious and sparse and reflective. Tongues (Masenko) is the standout and rightly sits at the top of the running order: a clean-arching guitar line, with a thumping vocal onslaught tempered by some clean delivery, and Fair Weather drops the pace, allowing the emotive sentiments to surface. The remaining tracks don't hit the same highs but it’s a promising first release.
