More Stories More Stories

Having waited two years after their last EP before tackling The Youth To Become was a positive move for Sydney hardcore outfit Stories.

The previously bland, static sound is replaced by a high intensity and emotive post-hardcore with sweeping instrumental shifts and a violent meeting of heavy and clean vocals that boosts the atmospheric builds across much of the record. Anybody still after the fist-pounding breakdowns and aggressive, chugging guitars can go for Highwater or For A Second… I Couldn't See A Thing, but The Youth To Become exposes a band building to something much more.
