"A timely reminder of how things are in post-Brexit UK."

More Sleaford Mods More Sleaford Mods

With half the British population seemingly prepared to gamble on leaving the EU, and the pending release of movies such as I, Daniel Blake, Sleaford Mods' extended player couldn't have landed at a better time.

A timely reminder of how things are in post-Brexit UK, the Nottingham duo continue to tap into the anti-austerity malaise that's being felt on both sides of the political spectrum; Jason Williamson (an occasional touring band member with Spiritualized) embellishes with East Midlands prose, while Andrew Fearn's deft hand channelling the best computer game theme tracks of the Atari 7800 is minimalism at its most desolate, thoughtful best.
