"This is profound, messy stuff. It's also well worth the adventure."

It's not every day that an act releases two records simultaneously.

If they're spawned from the same creative moment, the same spark, we might ask just how distinct can a pair of twins be? Quazarz Vs The Jealous Machines' sibling Born On A Gangster Star is an album striking in its availability, a real shift from Shabazz Palaces' more elusive past offerings. This album is more wonky. Love In The Time Of Kanye is aptly named, recalling Yeezy's ability to make something beautiful from an anti-aesthetic. The SS Quintessence is an adventure into confusing psychedelia; Winnie The Pooh's Heffalumps nightmare committed to song. This is profound, messy stuff. It's also well worth the adventure.
