Ryan Coffey: Late and Loud

Ryan Coffey is a cut above the rest when it comes to the one man musical comedy act. Armed with a set of loop pedals, an electric guitar and one powerful set of pipes, you're sure to be moved by his observational ballads of love and loss.

Coffey captures vocal harmonies and elements of body percussion/beat boxing with the loop pedals, setting up the perfect do-wop rhythm sections to accompany his lyrical repertoire and guitar melodies. Lyrics inspired by selling your ex's belongings back to them in a therapeutic post break up garage sale, or all those little things in life that are slightly more difficult than they need to be. Occasionally Coffey would drop the guitar mid song to engage the audience with angst laden jokes, while his looped rhythm section carried on behind him. These slightly chaotic interludes were well met with outbursts of laughter from the punters, amongst other hilarious consequences. Ryan Coffey is a must see musical comedy experience.
