This record is an ideal opening for a group that has a lot of promise.

The first full-length release from Perth three-piece Rogues On The Sea mixes churning guitars, smooth keys and great vocals to impressive effect. Although drawing heavy influence from '90s alternative rock bands, they've developed a sound that's undoubtedly their own. Lead single Ghosts Inside A Frame manages to encapsulate the vibe throughout this 10-track effort perfectly, and this record is an ideal opening for a group that has a lot of promise. Some struggle with debut releases, but Rogues On The Sea have made it look easy.
