"It’s a long path to redemption but with this Green’s taken a step in the right direction"

More Professor Green More Professor Green

After 2012’s At Your Inconvenience, he probably couldn’t have plunge any deeper. That’s not the only reason Growing Up In Public has a redemptive edge, though. Green can still turn his sharp tongue to those who irritate him, but this release has him reveal another layer. Fast Life, ostensibly a “poor little rich boy” whinge, is surprisingly resonant. We learn he no longer looks like his passport photo. The album includes more hints of an emerging “new man”. It’s a long path to redemption but with this Green’s taken a step in the right direction.
