"If Overdose... isn't on the soundtrack of an indie rom-com by the end of next year, your music supervisors aren't paying attention."

More Pierce Brothers More Pierce Brothers

Hollywood, take note: if Overdose, the first song from this latest Pierce Brothers EP, isn't on the soundtrack of an indie rom-com by the end of next year, your music supervisors aren't paying attention.

It has everything: the romantic overtones, the celebratory bridge you hear halfway through every other film trailer and an absolutely rousing chorus. The rest of Into The Dirt is solid, but not nearly as memorable — Pierce Brothers don't excel as balladeers as much as they do triumphant roots rockers, and the live energy on which they've built their reputation doesn't always translate into their studio work, but Overdose makes this EP well worth your attention.
