"There's no doubt about it, Odessa have created some pretty awesome tunes."

More Odesza More Odesza

Hundreds of calm party-goers lined up along the sidewalk in the windy rain eagerly waiting to get into the infamous Metro City to experience the music magic of Odesza during their Australian tour.

The American electronic music duo from Seattle, Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight were reportedly excited about being in Perth and to be playing at Groovin The Moo the following day.

As only the bottom levels of Metro City were open, the crowd slowly began filling the venue until they were packed like happy sardines, all bobbing around in the sea of Odesza anticipation.

Yahtzel kicked off the party playing some chirpy tunes until Odesza took to the stage and amped up the crowd with their drumming. About 30 minutes into their set they played Bloom, which made fans start jumping up and down and shrieking with delight.

The energy of the crowd slowly lifted throughout their set as they delivered their tasty remixes and cool sounds until they walked off the stage just before midnight, around an hour-and-a-half after they began. So the crowd did what any crowd would do... they began cheering and applauding, and soon they were back on stage to give the crowd a few more songs.

But overall the atmosphere was pretty tame. Something seemed to be missing. Perhaps it was the crowd being a little too cool for school, or perhaps it was the rain making everyone sad, or perhaps it was the new moon making everyone feel too reclusive... Either way, there's no doubt about it, Odesza have created some pretty awesome tunes and remixes, hence their sold out shows across the globe.
