"Ungod poses a great soundtrack for a brooding metalhead to brood over."

More Morgoth More Morgoth

For a band that signed to Century Media in its initial years of existence, Morgoth haven’t actually released a lot of studio albums in their expansive career.

Amid hiatus and a recent line-up change their new release doesn’t disappoint. As a classically pertained death metal album, the disc is full of dark, droning riffs and steady-as-she-goes double-kick drumming. The growls are brutal and the atmosphere is as grim as one would desire. Ungod poses a great soundtrack for a brooding metalhead to brood over while taking in the penetrating sense of evil that accompanies the record.
