Album Review: Matt Skiba & The Sekrets - Kuts

If it wasn’t already annoying that each song that could’ve been spelled with a C on Matt Skiba & The Sekrets’ new record had been changed to a K, is it also impertinent to mention the music within sounds as if it’d only appeal to those who played air-guitar along to More Than A Feeling when it was in that episode of Scrubs?

The musicians are capable of writing songs, but without the presence of challenging emotions, new wave sounds or technical prowess to relate to, don’t beg for more than one listen.
