Squealing With The Mice features a stronger climax that adds to the success of the track’s jangly, pop sensibilities, while I Was A Stranger perfectly carries off the outfit’s softly arranged, relaxing style of folk, best suited for lazy summer afternoons.

Compared to frontman Eddie Alexander's unusual, quivering vocals, which are both mature and slightly off-key, Love Migrate's placid opener/title track feels unequal in personality. However this isn't true of the EP as a whole, in which warmly toned guitar contributes to a contemplative, delicate mood. Squealing With The Mice features a stronger climax that adds to the success of the track's jangly, pop sensibilities, while I Was A Stranger perfectly carries off the outfit's softly arranged, relaxing style of folk, best suited for lazy summer afternoons. They play at The Tote on 8 Dec.
