Lawrence Mooney: Is A Stupid Liar

"A man on top of his game, confident and happy to ad-lib."

Simply put, the funniest performance I've seen since Billy Connolly rocked my world on VHS when I was 15, Mooney was like a sun in my dull universe. There were audible gasps for air and groans from the audience behind me – they couldn't take any more side-splitting laughter. Seriously, people were in physical distress from bending over, coughing and spluttering.  By the end of the gig, the place looked like an emergency triage. Mooney's set was slick, well-rehearsed and seamless. A man on top of his game, confident and happy to ad-lib.
