The point of dubstep is drama, right? If you're not taken on a journey of peaks, troughs and ear explosions then what's the point.

It's a lesson Knife Party learnt long ago. Indeed, it's a lesson they've been teaching for half a decade. PLUR Police is big, buzzy, and paranoid. Second track Parliament Funk is the highlight. Aptly named, it's an attempt to take the big room tunes and add a little narrative, and a little melody. There's drama. There are alarms. There are marimbas. There are no surprises. It's the Knife Party and it's dramatic.
