"Some of the cleverest and classiest crowd participation of the festival."

With a classic chemistry and easy banter, Sarah Jones and Nick Johnson make this comedy lark seem effortless.

They hurtle through a lively narrative studded with flashbacks and festooned with delightfully lo-fi props and effects. The conceit is they awake locked in a stage-shaped room to be tested by a malevolent AI. One of the highlights is casting the audience as their old schoolmates, which plays a big role in the plot and allows for some of the cleverest and classiest crowd participation of the festival. Another insanely excellent segment involves beautiful shadow/finger puppetry and Radiohead. Guinea Pigs is a comedy specimen well worth studying.
