If you’re the type of person that dreads sitting in the front row because you could be coerced into co starring in the show, then this one probably isn’t for you.

John Robertson's 'The Dark Room' is not your everyday stand up routine. Based on his YouTube hit of the same name, he presents the audience with an unusual interactive experience.

The challenge Robertson sets sounds simple - you awake to find yourself in a dark room, what do you do? How do you get out?

In a routine where any crowd member can become the focus, the comedy emerges from Robertson's improvisation and sharp wit as he directs people on their journey. Therefore, the quality of the show partly depends on the audience and the decisions they make.

If you're the type of person that dreads sitting in the front row because you could be coerced into co starring in the show, then this one probably isn't for you. Otherwise it is worth a crack; after all you may be one of the little few that have made it out, of the Dark Room.
