The New Conway Vibe

Those of you who have seen the man before will see him just as you remembered – very natural, very excitable and very damn funny.

Perth's comic talent John Conway is back from Melbourne for Fringe World this year – in a tent, in Northbridge (his words). While he mentioned his ill-preparedness for the show straight up, the entire thing worked very much to his advantage; it was an intimate tent but by the end of the show we all knew each other a little better. Conway combined his original standup with a concoction of bizarre improvisation and situational comedy that was genuinely hilarious for everyone there – you couldn't expect any two nights to be the same. He gave a lot, and much to his delight so did the audience. As a Perth local his comedy was tailored perfectly for the audience, and those of you who have seen the man before will see him just as you remembered – very natural, very excitable and very damn funny.
