"Blatant rip offs of everyone from Nirvana, to Guns N' Roses, to Zeppelin to Kid Rock (not to mention a totally pointless Queen cover)."

More Jackson Firebird More Jackson Firebird

The press notes for Shake The Breakdown describe it as a "stoner-garage-blues riffathon".

What the press notes don't mention is the blatant rip offs of everyone from Nirvana, to Guns N' Roses, to Zeppelin to Kid Rock (not to mention a totally pointless Queen cover). If Jackson Firebird are gonna steal from these bands, they could at least steal the good bits. Although, when it comes to Kid Rock, there are arguably no good bits to steal. Fusing cock-rock and rap is nothing new, it just would have been nice if Jackson Firebird had learned from the countless failures that preceded them, instead of emulating them.
