Album Review: Ignite - A War Against You

It's been nine long years since the stunning Our Darkest Days platter, but Ignite once again delivers the goods.

A War Against You is some of the best melodic hardcore you're ever going to hear. Boasting a typically punchy Cameron Webb production job and led by the soaring vocals of Zoltan 'Zoli' Teglas (note to Pennywise — this is how you use Zoli!) this material shines. Standouts include the heartfelt Rise Up, and the pro-refugee anthem Where I'm From. Even the overtly commercial Work has its charms and rounds off the 13-track release in style. Quite simply, Ignite have triumphed again.
