"There will be no essence of Limp Bizkit in this."

More I Am Zero More I Am Zero

Rising from the ashes of Saviour and Temporal, I Am Zero first appeared in June last year with their debut single The Winter Sun.

It confused some listeners: Bryant Best switched between a vocal style listeners are used to from Saviour and rapping akin to Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, with phrasing that could easily be placed straight into Hybrid Theory. It was sample-heavy, industrial, melodic hardcore/rap. Dark Sky merges sounds that the Australian heavy community recognises and the nostalgia of early rap/nu-metal, but the good kind; there will be no essence of Limp Bizkit in this.
