"Hatebreed's metallic hardcore venom hasn't dissipated one iota."

More Hatebreed More Hatebreed

When Jamey Jasta bellows "Stomach fucking turning/And now it's disconcerting/Fight fire with fire, you'll see everyone's burning" early, it's evident the frontman hasn't exhausted topics to spit bile about, and Hatebreed's metallic hardcore venom hasn't dissipated one iota.

The Concrete Confessional is their most incensed LP in some time (note Slaughtered In Their Dreams, for one), an impact enhanced by a thrashier edge throughout. Looking Down The Barrel Of Today's opening riff is pure Slayer worship, but emanates that bruising dependability fans have long gravitated towards. Cynics will bemoan lack of curveballs, while 'diehards' unleash the fury during yet another blood-splattered beatdown.
