"For an artist reportedly fighting a chest infection, Halsey was a warrior."

More Halsey More Halsey

The crowd went into a frenzy as Kehlani took to the stage in her oversized black shirt and boots. The pint-sized Oakland singer kicked off the show as if she was the headliner, with songs like CRZY, Distraction and The Way. Her vocals were flawless while her raunchy dance moves got the crowd begging for more. Tonight it was Kehlani's birthday, her DJ screamed, "We gotta sing happy birthday the right way!" before Halsey and the crew came running on stage with three birthday cakes for Kehlani to blow out while the crowd sang Happy Birthday. The short-but-sweet set left fans wanting more.

With anticipation lingering in the air the lights dimmed as The Prologue from Romeo & Juliet played. Halsey's silhouette appeared behind a large curtain draped across the stage as the crowd watched with hungry eyes. The curtain dropped to reveal Halsey (aks Ashley Frangipane) wearing a revealing sparkly outfit and matching balaclava. She launched straight into Closed Eyes and Hold Me Down as smoke crept across the stage.

After a quick costume change, Frangipane showed off her new short black hairdo as she got down with Heaven In Hiding and StrangersRoman Holiday saw pyrotechnics detonate before the heat was turned up on Walls Could Talk as flames heated up the stage as the crowd felt warmth brush their cheeks. "Perth, this is my first time in this beautiful city,"  Frangipane shared, before praising our state as "a beautiful city with the kindest souls and the kindest faces". She then blew our minds with Bad At Love and Alone. Halsey's set included all the fan favourites such as 100 Letters, Now Or Never and Colors.

For an artist reportedly fighting a chest infection, Halsey was a warrior hitting all the right notes and not skipping a beat during her rendition of The Chainsmokers song she features on, Closer. Lie and Don't Play saw Frangipane and her backing dancer TeeTee dance in water, splashing it onto the crowd.
