"'Mr Davis' doesn't pander too much despite the guest list."

Gucci's legend status means that anyone who wants to reach hardcore rap fans is asking for a guest verse - he's now been on songs by everyone from girl-group Fifth Harmony to Selena Gomez.

While there was more hype behind last year's Everybody Looking, his first album in five years, Mr Davis was eagerly anticipated, especially after his highest-charting single I Get The Bag. That song is characteristic of the album in a lot of ways: it's a banger with at least half a dozen Gucci quotables, but it feels like he's a featured artist on his own track. Thankfully, Mr Davis doesn't pander too much despite the guest list. Above all, it's Guwop being the mumble-mouth legend that he is.
