Too Soon? is a solid show which will hold great appeal for punters who are keen to go along with Ifft and get a little dirty.

A joke about the Boston Marathon less than 24 hours after the event? Eddie Ifft certainly tells jokes 'too soon' as the title of his show suggests. The taboo-breaker drew a huge gasp from the audience before a smattering of laughter. Ifft then proceeds to recount tales of broaching other topics while they're still raw such as the fate of prosthetic-free Oscar Pistorius in jail, and Lance Armstrong's drug taking which draw greater, more confident laughs. The Californian stand up is relaxed and engaging on stage, his style is scattershot veering from gross-out sex gags to rants about the state of religion in America and longer tales of misadventure. Those who struggle to hold up their side of an argument will enjoy the comedian's tip for winning any verbal fight and his story about asking his fiancé for a blow job on a road trip was a crowd pleaser. Too Soon? is a solid show which will hold great appeal for punters who are keen to go along with Ifft and get a little dirty.
