The local singer-songwriter’s frail and gentle voice would see her classed with the likes of Jewel and Tori Amos, but still lacks their memorable and unique quality.

Ebonnie has taken a very honest and open route when it comes to songwriting, and in particular the pains of lost love. Nonetheless the album gets cheesy at times, which intensifies with Ebonnie's cute voice. Patchwork Fantasia is a dreamy and piano-driven album that infuses a lot of contemporary guitar fuzz into classical and pop music together, before ending with an unexpected instrumental that sounds like an excerpt from a Disney movie. The local singer-songwriter's frail and gentle voice would see her classed with the likes of Jewel and Tori Amos, but still lacks their memorable and unique quality.
