Daniel Townes

Seeing Daniel Townes is a unique experience, and one I would highly recommend.

He performs at two extremes of the comic spectrum, vacillating between superb puns and brutally honest, and truthful, observations. Townes isn’t one to tiptoe around any issue, he interrogates animal welfare, drug addiction and violence with a fearlessness, ferocity and wit that has the audience completely engrossed - a little bit appalled but laughing all the same. This isn’t a laugh-a-minute show, but it is very intelligent and certainly relevant. It takes real talent to summarize all our shortcomings as a society and still entertain an audience. Luckily, Daniel Townes is a very talented comedian.
