"A banger of an album!"

More Circa Waves More Circa Waves

Circa Waves have unshackled themselves from their traditional sound and taken a leap forward with third album What’s It Like Over There?. The four-piece from Liverpool have stepped away from the darker and heavier sound of 2017's Different Creatures, as lead singer Kieran Shudall explains, “The pop will not hurt you, it’ll set you free!”

Times Won’t Change Me is so delicious you’ll want to sink your teeth into it, thanks to its soaring piano and Shudall’s smooth vocals. Guitar synths are mesmerising in Me, Myself & Hollywood but the drums steal the show, while Movies sweeps you up with its infectious pop beat and killer hook. The boys shake it up with Motorcade, featuring roaring guitars licks and an addictive '80s synth beat that will get you moving.

The Way We Say Goodbye feels like it’s been plucked out of a romcom with its breathtaking indie-rock tune and tear-jerking lyrics. Circa Waves aren’t messing around, they're here to show they can change their sound and still bring out a banger of an album!
