"'Small Things' is an understated and groovy breath of fresh air"

A writer, a teacher, a student and a travelling muso come together to bring us their debut EP.

The opening number, Stars, and the following title track have a low-key, funky confidence bringing to mind a less shouty Bloc Party with a hint of Jamiroquai. Curious? You should be. The second act begins with the more introspective Hell No, which features a borrowed vintage 1970s Rhodes piano, straight out of Let It Be, and cinematic strings from the musicians behind the Australian Ballet. Small Things is an understated and groovy breath of fresh air.
