Bart Freebairn: Ultra Power Lord

Ultra Power Lord revolves Bart Freebairn’s ideas of masculinity (or lack thereof), shooting down several avenues and touching upon how fight circles start in schools and his dog’s unwillingness to fight with a backyard possum.

Freebairn toes the line between offensive and philosophical, somehow combining the two in such a way that the string of four-letter expletives peppered throughout the show feels very purposeful.

Freebairn feels like the smartest guy at the party, blowing all the drinkers’ minds while he sits calmly with a can of Coke, a mischievous smile in the corner of his mouth.
