Album Review: Bad Vision - Turn Out Your Sockets

"This is a band that has one foot in the grease-strewn gutter and the other steeped in beer-soaked confetti."

Bad Vision don't mess about, declaring intent with sneering stab at their hometown Very Melbourne, and the 12 tracks that rollick afterward follow suit.

This is a band that has one foot in the grease-strewn gutter and the other steeped in beer-soaked confetti — their loose punk histrionics are infested with glittering, sinewy hooks. From the gnarled Fairweather and the ECSR-meets-God Shitspeak to the party meltdown Goons and the thrashed Don't Don't, there is barely room to breathe. There is even Dunedin sunshine in Sleep Standing Up. Lotsa fun.
