A New Home In The Old World features music which any country, folk or music enthusiast will enjoy thoroughly.

Right from the start, the fast-paced drums, banjo and voice of Austin Lucas let you know that this country-folk album is going to be energetic and have something for all fans of the Indiana-born songwriter.

Lucas' fourth album, A New Home In The Old World features meaningful songwriting and varying song styles to keep any listener holding on for the full-band experience of folk punk and country.

Beginning with the track Run Around, Lucas brings together the best of country folk with the company of banjo and violin, while performing with pitch-perfect ability himself up front. The second track, titled Sit Down, takes the tempo down a notch, with a more serious take on an affair and the thoughts that go with the experience.

A New Home In The Old World  brings a lot to the table for country fans, while drawing on punk and rocking influences for songs such as Thunder Rail, which sets itself apart as perhaps one of the songs you'll most likely want to put on repeat, thanks to it's deep guitar riffs which provides a high-energy ride from start to finish.

Following straight on is a memorable duet by Austin with his sister, Chloe. An elegant acoustic love song, Nevada Country Line features a memorable sound of guitar and harmonising between brother and sister, clearly demonstrating the varying abilities of Austin's voice when compared with the rest of the album so far.

A New Home In The Old World switches between hardship and the meaningful lyrics in such songs as Keys which discusses the impacts of war, and Feast, which provides listeners with wonderful vocal duets alongside an instrumental tune which has you foot-tapping from the first banjo strum.

Sharing an incredible talent in Austin Lucas through a range of fast-paced country tracks and acoustic sounds, A New Home In The Old World features music which any country, folk or music enthusiast will enjoy thoroughly.
