Stalwart Australian label does it again…

If you live in Australia and listen

to any half decent hardcore/punk/metal then you should be familiar with Trial And Error. There’s a good chance that you have purchased

one of the many records in their catalogue or at the very least, attended

a show that Trial And Error main-man Nigel Melder has had a hand

Don't miss a beat with our FREE daily newsletter

in. If you haven’t… well, you suck.

As the title would suggest this

is the seventh release in the compilation series that Trial And Error

puts out, and as usual, it has contains a great mix of Australian and

international talent.

For less than you’ll get

no less than 27 tracks on this CD, and there’s something for everybody!

Death Before Dishonour

and Internal Affairs will keep the hardcore kids happy. If you’re

into something a little left of centre you can check out See YouNext Tuesday and Job For A Cowboy (although it seems every

2nd kid on a message board seems to hate them these days)

and The Nation Blue will give you something to sing along to.

The massive Australian representation

on this compilation shows just how healthy our country’s respective

scenes really are. Hearing tracks from bands like Dropsaw, Picture The End, Abandon All Hope, Pro Team – and of course the mighty Mindsnare - stand up against our

American counterparts is surely a reminder that some of the world’s

best bands are right here in our own backyard.

It doesn’t matter if you’re

buying this record so you’ve got a mix for a road trip or if you’re

new to the world of hardcore and you just want to see what’s out there.

Either way, its well worth your time and money.

Poison The Well – Letter Thing

Jungle Fever – 21st

Century Babylon

Dropsaw – Waster Youth
