Yours Truly Release Surprise EP

What a fun year for Yours Truly!

The Sydney band shared the is this what i look like? EP in July this year and have toured in America, Canada, Europe and the UK. The group are currently charming audiences around the country for their Australian headline tour.

Today, they return with is this what i lofi?, a "chill as heck" reimagining of their recent EP. 

"After working on an interactive game for our EP, is this what i look like? we wanted to add lo-fi versions of all our songs to the game as we all like to listen to chill lo-fi playlists while we game," the band commented about the new release.

"After hearing the tracks, we all thought ', this needs to come out as a whole EP release', and that was how is this what i lofi? came to be! People can listen to the original tracks to be hyped, but if they want something a little more chill - we have these versions now."

Earlier this year, Yours Truly released the single This Is What I Look Like and collaborated with You Me At Six on another track called Hallucinate. After wrapping up 2021 in fine form - sweeping up an ARIA nomination for Best Hard Rock/heavy album for Self Care and supporting Holding Absence on their UK run, Yours Truly hit the ground running in 2022. 

With the band stepping off the stage at UNIFY, finishing opening for Against The Current on their UK tour, and vocalist Mikaila Delgado supporting Slumberjack's Like A Version set, Yours Truly played a run of festivals in 2022, including appearances in the UK, Australia, Italy and Sweden.  

“This EP has opened a door where it feels like we can now go anywhere and do anything”, Delgado explained to Ellie Robinson. “We just feel inspired, and we want to keep going. What’s the point in waiting?”
