STEP ONE: KNOW WHEN TICKETS GO ON SALE

General public tickets go on sale at 9am AEST Thursday 19 April (tomorrow). Write it down, mark it in your diaries, get it tattooed on your forearm - whatever it takes to remember that general public tickets go on sale at 9am AEST Thursday 19 April.

STEP TWO: CHOOSE WHAT TYPE OF TICKET YOU WANT

Don't be the person that gets to the checkout and has to think for 10 minutes about what type of ticket you want to score. If you're going for a one-day ticket, make sure you're all over the day-by-day line-ups so you don't miss out on your fave act.

Note that to camp onsite you must buy both an event ticket and a seperate camping ticket.

Three Day Ticket (Friday, Saturday Sunday, including Thursday access) = $399 per person + fees (inc. booking fees & cc charges)

Single Day Ticket (Friday or Saturday or Sunday) = $179 per person + fees (inc. booking fees & cc charges)

Camping Tickets

General Admission Five Day Camping (Wednesday to Monday) = $129 per person + fees (inc. booking fees & cc charges)

Family Camping Five Day* (Wednesday to Monday) = $129 per person + fees (inc. booking fees & cc charges)

*A family-friendly campground separate from GA camping, children aged 12 and under are admitted free, and must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times whilst at the festival or campgrounds.

You can buy up to four (4) event tickets in one transaction.

STEP THREE: KNOW HOW YOU'RE GOING TO PAY

Payment can be made by Visa Checkout, Visa, Mastercard and PayPal only, so put away your BitCoin.

STEP FOUR: BE ALL OVER YOUR TICKET SCORING METHOD

There are only two ways to nab yourself that golden ticket; the Moshtix website (mostix.com.au) or over the phone on 1300 438 849.

Be aware that all Moshtix phone bookings will add a $2.50 fee per ticket in transaction.

STEP FIVE: GET IN LINE

We don't have to tell you that SITG tickets are a hot button item, the servers will be pushed to the limit come tomorrow morning. If you're buying online, you will most likely be placed in a waiting room or 'Green Room' before you can seal the deal. Don't freak out, don't refresh your browser; just stay calm and know that it's very normal.

STEP SIX: KNOW THAT RESALE IS AN OPTION

If you missed out on the first run of general public tickets then all hope is not lost.

You can be 90% sure that there'll be an official resale option (also through Moshtix) announced in the following days/weeks to hook people who don't want their tickets up with people who want to get their hands on some.

The resellers usually cop a resale and booking fee for using the service.

Besides the absolutely spellbinding musical line-up, the festival has announced some of its most well-loved yearly features will be returning in 2018.

Little Splendour is the place to hit up for all the parents bringing their sprogs to revel in the wonder of the festival. It'll also include babysitting so the 'rents can have a little time to themselves.

Splendour In The Craft, beyond being a great pun, is the area to let your creativity fly and make all kinds of crazy concoctions with onsite crafting experts.

Splendour Comedy Club is where you're going to find a plethora of Australia's best and brightest comedy minds strutting their stuff all weekend. It's also where you'll find a spot to have a seat, rest those feet and enjoy a few yuks at the same time. The line-up will be announced in the coming weeks.
