A woman has given birth at a Metallica concert in Curitiba, Brazil on Saturday the 7th of May.

Consequence Of Sound has reported that tattoo artist, Joice M. Figueiró, attended the concert while 39 weeks pregnant and ended up giving birth at the show.

Watching the show from the accessible seating section, Figueiró felt fine during the opening acts of Ego Kill Talent and Greta Van Fleet, but Metallica's metal prowess pushed her over the edge.

As the band began their performance she began having contractions, with her water breaking at the venue's outpatient clinic. There was not enough time to get her to a maternity ward.

In an Instagram post, Figueiro was excited to announce that her son was born in the midst of "shaking metal structures," caused by Metallica.

It read, “When would I imagine that I would be at the Metallica show at 39 weeks pregnant and this boy decides to be born right there, three songs before the show ends, at Couto Pereira to the sound of ‘Enter Sandman’?”
