Plus they'll play a headline show in Perth

More Watain More Watain

Just adding to the controversial nature of the upcoming Mayhem 30th Anniversary tour, the metal rockers have added equally untamed Swedish rockers Watain to proceedings, presenting one of the excitingly bleak double-bills of the year for metal fans Down Under.

Just last week, Norway's Mayhem unleashed the dates for their Anniversary tour, bringing their tragic church burning, murderous, imprisonment and myopic teenage nationalism history to Australia in January 2014, today adding the dangerously liberal spirited and fellow European confidants Watain to the three shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Additionally, Watain will play an extra show at the Amplifier Bar in Perth – without Mayhem.

Watain brag five full-length records, with their most recent The Wild Hunt out now – a sound which the band says has been set loose on the dying world.
